I got a little burst of energy last night (due to some poorly time coffee consumption!), so I wanted to do a quick caricature sketch of one of my new favorite actors, Tom Hardy.

Every illustrator's morning
I have a few commissions on my plate that I didn't want to just jump into, so I wanted to shake off any left over rust from RIT with a little still-life study. A few of my favorite things here, a hot cup of coffee and my sketchbook and pencil.
Mixed media: acrylics, oils, and colored pencils.

Alsheimer brew
Going into my last few weeks at RIT, I really needed to cool down and just relax with some personal work. So I really felt the urge to paint some beer the other day, and got thirsty doing it. Mixed media(acrylic, watercolor, oil, and colored pencils)

A Cat with Class
So I have been trying to fill gaps in my portfolio lately, and I realized I don't have many animals, so here's a personal piece of a classed up cat about to gulp down a goldfish. Stay thirsty my friends.
You can't 'Beat the Heat'
Here's an illustration I did a few months ago, and since the NBA playoffs are going on right now I figured it would be a good time to post it. The big three from the Miami Heat: Lebron James (left), Dwyane Wade (middle), and Chris Bosh (right).

Mother's Day
In time for Mother's Day, I painted a caricature of my mom so she would have something to laugh at while going through her up coming chemo treatments. Done in acrylic, watercolor and oil paints, and colored pencils.

Love and Money
This piece I did for an editorial assignment. The article dealt with a study that found how, recently, men are finding successful, money-making women more attractive because of the fact that they can pull their own weight. This is a change to the past general idea that men were more intimidated by successful women and found them less attractive because of their success.
